For more than 200 years the farm "Polla" has been managed by the family Grazia and its offspring
It is situated in the valley between Camporgiano and San Romano, on the river Serchio, in the heart of
Garfagnana, between the natural park of "Orecchiella" and the one of the Apuan Alps, at 550 meters on the sea- level
and about one kilometer far from the village.
Only 150 metres far from here there is the little Railway- station of Camporgiano, from which it is possible to leave with the characteristical train
and travel through the whole Garfagnana to reach Lucca; from there you can easily reach Pisa, Florence and Viareggio.
It is formed by 6 flats with different characteristics and typical local furnishing, and it disposes of
a swimming-pool (12x6), from which you can enjoy an evocative view. It is the ideal place for a complete physical as well as spiritual relax; particularly advisable for children,
who can run and play barefoot on the fields around.
We produce spelt, white wine, chestnuts and vegetables.
It is a good starting poit for excursions on foot, by Mountain-Bike, or by horse (from the riding-ground at 150 metres) and
during the week guided excursions with pick-nick to the most evocative places of the area are organized.
At few kilometres there is the Golf-Club of Garfagnana. |
